Michael Haley is an attorney at Haley Law who specializes in personal injury, medical malpractice, civil rights cases, sexual harassment and product liability. Shortly after starting at Haley Law, Michael quickly established himself as a prominent attorney in his field. He has assisted in securing multiple seven and eight-figure settlements in cases where the defendants offered little or no money at the start of litigation.
Michael has obtained a $1,250,000 settlement on behalf of a client who was attacked by a police canine during a traffic stop in the City of San Ramon, he secured a $13.5 million dollar settlement for two minor children who lost their parents in a trucking collision, and a $5.3 million settlement on behalf of the family of a young man shot and killed by a City of Santa Clara police officer.
Michael is the third generation to join Haley Law and a native of Oakland who is active in the Bay Area legal community. He is a member numerous professional organizations including the Alameda County Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of America, American Bar Association, and the Alameda-Contra Costa County Trial Lawyers Association
Michael earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law. During his time at USF Law, he was awarded the Arthur C. Zief scholarship and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Justice Ming W. Chin of the Supreme Court of California.
